Located in Amer, around 11 kilometers from Jaipur. Constructed by Raja Mansingh in the year 1592. It is a huge palace with a very unique and beautiful architecture. One can also try some fun things in Amber fort:
Go elephant riding.
The light and sound show in the evening.
Visit the temple of Sila Devi.
Eat some delicious dishes at 1135 AD.

Nahargarh fort was built as a majestic defense fort. The fort provides scenic views of the city. The significant attractions here other than the views are the twelve queen boudoirs which are well connected and decorated with murals.

Tickets: 85 Rs. – Foreign Tourists and 35 Rs.-Indians.
Opening Timings: Open all days from 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
 
3. Jaigarh fort:



This fort was the symbol of the military prowess of Rajputs and had been a part of many famous historical wars. Jaigarh Fort contains the world’s largest cannon, Jaivana. You can also get to see the historical artillery at Artillery museum . It is highly fortified and spread over an area of about 3km. Jaigarh Fort is located near Amer and Nahargarh Fort.
 
4. Hawa mahal:




Hawa Mahal needs no introduction and a place not to miss. Constructed by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799. As the name suggests the ‘Palace of the Winds’, It is truly a palace with large number of 953 windows to provide ventilation. It is said that the Mahal was constructed for the Royal women to view the ongoing activities in the city.
 
Tickets: 50 Rs. for foreign Tourists and 10 Rs. for Indians.
Opening Timings: 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.
 
5. City Palace: 




It was constructed by Sawai Jai singh -2 between 1729 and 1732 A.D. The palace complex includes Chandra mahal and Mubarak mahal. Chandra mahal is converted into museum.
Not only the architecture is magnificient and praise worthy, you will be amazed by the glorious view of Pink City from here.
 
 
Tickets: Palace view >  200 Rs. - Indians, 100 Rs.- students (with IDs) and 700 Rs.- tourists.
museum visit > 500 Rs. - Indians and 1000 Rs. - foreigners.
 
Extras: You can book a golf cabby at 150 rs.  and a chariot ride (with family) at 1000 rs. Audio guide is available at 200 rs.  You may also buy a composite ticket which is valid for 2 days, includes entry fees to other so many  tourist spots in Jaipur.
 
Opening Timings:  Open all days from 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. – 10 p.m. for night viewing.
 
6.Pink city baazar:


Pink City Bazaars consists of four bazaars– Johari Bazaar, Bapu Bazaar, Nehru Bazaar, Kishanpole Bazaar and Tripolia Bazaar. “Pink City” is a paradise for shoppers with the different variety of things.
Each bazaar is famous for different things like Johari Bazaar is for precious gemstones, Bapu Bazaar for Jaipur textile goods, Nehru Bazaar for Jootis and Kishanpole for wooden sculptures.
 
Tickets: No entry fee.
Opening Timings: Open all days except Sunday (a part of bazaar is closed) from 11 am to 10 pm.  
 
7. Jal Mahal:



 Built by Maharaja Jai Singh II in the 18th century, as a hunting stop and for summer retreat. Beautifully decorated hallways and the fragrant Chameli Bagh are enough to impress anyone. It is also a well known visiting site for many migratory birds like grey heron, blue-tailed bee-eaters.

 Albert Hall Museum is an example of majestic Indo-Saracenic style architecture. Named after Prince of Wales, Albert Edward and completed in the year 1887, The museum has colletion of many artifacts, paintings from different parts of India and even an Egyptian mummy.  It is one of India’s oldest center for art and culture exploration.

Galtaji or Khole Ke Hanuman Ji is a sacred Hindu pilgrimage. The temple is surrounded by hilly ranges filled with vegetation which recharges seven sacred kunds. A legend associated with the temple also states that Tulsidas wrote some part of Ramcharitmanas on this place.
